The world’s greatest science experiment! Growing micro greens in your home is simple and a great addition to smoothies and salads. The nutrient rich greens are a fantastic way to get increase your vitamin and mineral intake.
Find a dish or tin can and fill with suitable seed base e.g. perlite or vermiculite. You may like to punch a hole in the tin can for drainage. Sprinkle the micro green seeds onto the mixture and lightly cover them with more seed base. Lighly spray with water to keep the seeds moist. Don’t over water your micro greens. Make sure they have access to light by placing them on a windowsill. Most greens develop quickly and are ready for harvesting in approximately 5-14 days depending on what you choose to plant. As planting advice may vary, follow the instruction on the seed pack.
